Early Victoria (Emneth Early) Apple - Half-Standard MM106

As the name suggests Early Victoria or Emneth Early is an early Codlin type cooking apple raised in Emneth introduced by Messrs Cross of Wisbech and is a cross of Lord Grosvenor x Keswick Codlin.  First recorded in 1899.  Cropping in late July/early August the fruits have an exquisite flavour, the perfect marriage of sharp and sweet.  Will cook down to a fluffy puree and no sugar is needed.
