Honeygold is a cross of Golden Delicious x Harelson.

Raised in 1935 at the University of Minnesota, Horticultural Research Centre. It was introduced in 1969. Fruits are sweet, crisp very juicy, with subtle notes of honey.  Honeygold is a hardy variety and will thrive even in colder spots.

Honeygold is not self-fertile so will require a pollinating partner.
