A family tree is a specially grafted tree that has three different varieties of apple (or pear) growing on a single tree. The individual branches have been grafted with different compatible varieties allowing you to enjoy a trio of apples (or pears). Family trees allow you to have all of the benefits of multiple trees where space is limited.
