ESTIMATED TO BE READY IN AUTUMN
Aldwick Beauty is an attractive dessert apple originating from Aldwick, near Bognor Regis in Sussex. This variety arose as a chance seedling in the garden of Mrs D. M. Alford and was first received by the National Fruit Trials in 1969.
The fruits are small to medium-sized and round in shape, with a greenish-yellow background colour almost entirely covered by a bright red flush. The skin is marked with prominent cream-coloured lenticels and may occasionally display attractive radiating patches of russet.
Aldwick Beauty produces sweet-flavoured fruits, making it an excellent choice for fresh eating. Its striking appearance and pleasant flavour make it a distinctive addition to any orchard or garden.
