Allington Pippin Apple - (1 Tier) Espalier

Raised by Thomas Laxton in Lincolnshire before 1884. It received a First Class Certificate from the Royal Horticultural Society in 1894 under its original name, 'Brown's South Lincoln Beauty'. Renamed in 1894 and introduced by Bunyard of Maidstone in 1896. 

Allington Pippin is a delicious cross of King of the Pippins x Cox Orange Pippin.  Fruits have the distinct Cox, sweet and tangy, aromatic flavour.

Allington Pippin has a number of synonyms including South Lincoln Beauty and South Lincoln Pippin.
