ESTIMATED TO BE READY IN AUTUMN

Our family trees are a clever way of growing more fruit in a small place as they have three varieties of apple grafted on one tree!

We have selected three varieties that will work together in terms of pollination and vigour to achieve a lovely balanced shape and to fill the fruit bowl.

ADAM'S PEARMAIN

Brought to notice in 1826 and introduced and exhibited by R. Adams from Herefordshire in 1826. This variety is also known as the "Norfolk Pippin" A popular Edwardian and Victorian dessert apple. Fruits are juicy and a little sweet, with a pleasant aromatic flavour.

BRAMLEY 20

Exactly the same as original Bramley but bred to be 20% less vigorous.  Raised by Mary Ann Brailsford, Southwell, Nottinghamshire, England between 1809 and 1813 and introduced in 1865 by nurseryman H. Merryweather. First exhibited in 1876. Received a First Class Certificate from the Royal Horticultural Society in 1893. The most popular cooking apple grown in the UK.  The fruits are sharp and juicy and will cook down to a fluff.

TYDEMAN'S EARLY WORCESTER

Tydeman’s Early Worcester is an early season apple which is very juicy and sweet with a hint of strawberry flavour and is partially self-fertile. Kent UK 1945
