Originating in Derbyshire in 1818 this dual purpose apple has flesh that is aromatic, crisp, with a wonderful marriage of sweet and tangy flavours. The yellow apples will happily store for about 3 months.  The tree is fairly vigorous and a reliable and heavy cropper.
