A historic English apple dating back to the 16th century, known for its distinctive five-crowned shape and firm, juicy flesh.  With a nutty flavour and excellent cooking qualities.  It holds its shape when baked and produces a bright yellow sauce.  A true heritage variety, prized for both culinary use and traditional orchard.
