 Introduced by J. Cheal & Sons of Crawley, Sussex. Recorded in 1902. Crawley Reinette is a late dessert apple, which stores really well.  The apples have an attractive orange red flush.   The flesh is juicy with a lovely tangy flavour but when stored, the flavour intensifies and mellows.
