Falstaff Apple - Espalier 1 Tier

ESTIMATED TO BE READY IN LATE SPRING/SUMMER

Raised in 1966 at East Malling Research Station, Kent. Fruits are crunchy, juicy and sweet with a very good flavour.  The apples are fairly large in size with a red flush over a golden yellow base.  The size and base colour take after Golden Delicious whilst the flavour and character of the apple is thanks to James Grieve the other variety from which they are crossed.
