Enjoy three wonderful apple varieties growing together on one tree. Family apple trees are grafted with several different varieties, making them a great choice for smaller gardens where space may be limited, while still providing a selection of flavours and apples to enjoy.

Saltcote Pippin

Raised by James Hoad at Rye, Sussex, and first recorded in 1918. The large fruits have an attractive red flush and firm, juicy flesh with a rich, sweet and aromatic flavour. Awarded an RHS Award of Merit in 1928, this delightful eating apple is ready to pick in early October and stores until December.

Bloody Ploughman

A Scottish heritage apple recorded in 1883, with a fascinating legend behind its unusual name. The scarlet apples are ribbed and have crisp flesh that is juicy and sweet in flavour. A hardy variety that fares well in colder areas, ready to pick in September and stores until December.

Pitmaston Pineapple

The small russeted apples have a rich and distinct flavour, with hints of honey, a nuttiness and notes of pineapple. Raised by Mr White, steward to Lord Foley at Witley, in about 1785, and introduced by Williams of Pitmaston, Worcester. An eating apple ready to pick in October, which stores until December.
