This small to medium-sized dessert apple has a rounded to conical shape and often develops a light brown, russeted skin. A Hugh Ermen variety originating from  Kent, it is prized for its dense flesh and rich, sweet, nutty flavour, making it a true connoisseur’s choice. A rare and highly localised variety, it is traditionally linked to the coastal, salt-influenced growing conditions around Faversham Creek.
