Heusgens Golden Reinette Apple - Half-Standard MM106

ESTIMATED TO BE READY IN LATE SPRING/SUMMER

Named after the pomologist Peter Heusgen. A popular apple in the 1920’s brought to notice in England by Bunyard’s Nursery. 

The apples are yellow/green ripening to golden.  Heavily covered with dark red stripes. The flesh is pale yellow.   Sharp when first picked but sweeten as they store.
