Jansen von Welton Apple - Half-Standard

Little is recorded about this rare apple variety.  We do know that it was raised by Jansen at Welten, near Aachen, Germany. Fruit was received by Diel, a German pomologist in 1823. Fruits have fairly firm, fine flesh with a sweet, aromatic, nutty flavour.
