Jefferson's Gage Half-Standard

Raised in New York, USA in about 1825 and introduced to England in 1841. Fruits have moderately firm, very juicy flesh with the sweet and rich flavour of a Gage but the large, oval shape is more typical of a plum.  Cropping in late August/early September.  A pollinating partner will be required as they are not self-fertile.
