Malus John Downie - Patio Tree

Probably one of the best known old fashioned varieties.  The blossom is spectacular with an abundance of frothy white flowers that are open from pink buds, that are perfect for pollinating other varieties.  The fruits which are ombre coloured, eventually ripening to orangey/red.
