Lady Isabel Apple - Espalier (1 Tier)

Similar in flavour and character to James Grieve, Lady Isabel was found growing in a compost heap in 1939 in Guildford, Surrey.  The large apples are perfectly balanced with complex flavours that Joan Morgan describes in her Book of apples as "sweet, yet savoury, plenty of fruit and acidity" and are very juicy.
