Lord Derby Apple - Half-Standard

Lord Derby originated from Cheshire c1862 and is also known by the synonyms London Major and London Mayor.  The smooth, large apples are deliciously tart and a good substitute for Bramley.  The Victorian writer Hogg listed Lord Derby as one of their favourite Culinary apples.
