Finish Training at Home
A young tree grown and pruned in preparation for espalier training. Your tree is supplied without an established horizontal tier. As new shoots develop during the next growing season, you will select and tie them to supporting wires to begin forming the first tier. Further tiers can be developed over subsequent seasons.
This option is for customers who wish to carry out the training themselves at home. If you would prefer us to continue training your tree here at the nursery, simply add our Growing On Service (£15.00 per tree, including VAT) to your order. Your tree will then be grown on and trained by our nursery team, with estimated availability in late spring/summer 2027, depending on growth.
Delivery
Finish Training at Home trees can be sent by boxed courier delivery when dormant, subject to tree size and destination. Delivery is charged separately and must be paid before dispatch. We will contact you to agree the delivery arrangements and cost. Nursery-trained trees may require a different delivery method.
