Northern Greening Apple - Half-Standard

Northern Greening was noted by Hogg as an "excellent culinary apple" and he considered it to be of first rate quality.  Northern Greening is said to be one of the parents of "Dumelow's Seedling".

Sadly, often overlooked for more handsome, descendant's that are larger in size, Northern Greening is worth growing for the flavour alone.  Like many cooking apple varieties, the fruits will store well.
