A chance seedling discovered in France and introduced by the French nurseryman Masset of Oullins in 1860. Oullins is a good all rounder; with abundant crops of richly flavoured, sweet yellow/pale golden fruits. The fruits are delicious eaten freshly picked but also fabulous for preserving etc,.
