Perrine Yellow Transparent Apple - Full-Standard M25

ESTIMATED TO BE READY IN LATE SPRING/SUMMER

A bud mutation of White Transparent, ripening one week earlier, making this a very early Summer apple, ripening in July.  It originated from a wild seedling growing in Northern Europe in the 1800's and was later brought to Fance by the Wagner nursery. Known by several names including our favourite "Grandparent!".  The flesh is as the name suggests almost transparent with a creamy yellow hue.  Not an apple to try to store but to be enjoyed as they ripen.  Although not classified as a cooking apple, they do cook well.  The flesh is juicy and tangy.  Partially self-fertile.
