Ribston Pippin Apple - 1 Tier Espalier

The pip from which the original apple grew was said to have been brought to Ribston Hall, Yorkshire in the early 1700's.  This new aromatic apple, with its pear aroma, richly flavoured with a sweetness perfectly balanced with a little acidity, remains popular with apple connoisseur's.  

Recorded to be the mother of Cox Orange Pippin, so linked to many incredible apples.
