Saltcote Pippin Apple - Espalier (1 Tier)

Raised by James Hoad at Rye, Sussex. First recorded in 1918. Received an Award of Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society in 1928.

Fruits are large, with attractive red flush and are firm and juicy.  Flavour is rich, sweet and aromatic.

Ribston Pippin is thought to be a parent of this delightful apple.
