White Melrose Apple - (2 Tier) Espalier

White Melrose is also known by its synonym Melrose.  Originating from Melrose in Scotland and first recorded in the 1800's, although thought to be much older, with mention of it being grown by Monks in the 1600's.  

The apples are pale yellow almost white, heavily ribbed and of irregular shape.  This is a hardy variety that is notoriously heavy cropping with exquisite flavour.
